Question

Can't drag anything into sequence in Premiere

I was using Adobe Premiere version 25.1 normally, had just finished editing a project, and when I tried to start a new one, an error occurred that froze the program.
I can't drag any files to the sequence, nor can I move the files that are already in the sequence.

How can I fix this?

If not dual monitors, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Are you using dual monitors?

If so, make sure that the resolution of both monitors are the same.

Alternatively, try using a single monitor.

There is a bug which is being addressed with regard to dual montors.

Man, Thank you! I would never consider this, just because it happens suddenly.

I tried using a single monitor and it worked. Probably is some kind of error with nvidia driver. Lets see if reinstal nvidia drive will solve this.

I already tried
- restart windows
- reinstall Premiere
- install previous version of Premiere

I don't know what happened and I need to resolve it, because my job depends on it.
