CAN'T Edit Caption style in Latest Premiere Pro 25.0

I just updated the 2025 version. I imported the .srt file and found that the panel for adjusting subtitles in Previous Essential Graphic disappeared. I couldn’t find any settings to change the subtitle font, color, and size in the New " Graphic Template " Panel .

Does anyone know where to find it?

I have all my subtitles selected and still nothing appears in the properties panel, how can I make it work?

So went on to do a rush job for a client, captions crashing Premier, to upgrade to 25 and they've moved the edit subtitles from Essential Graphics and it's no where to be found? WHY DO THEY DO STUFF LIKE THIS.

V2025 has big bug for captions and the properties pannel to edit found that have to keep closing PR and rrsetring then it works for a shot time go change to differnt view and go back to captions and graphicas propertys for text chage will not show up just blank propertys pannel ,so have to then re-start Pr and it then works. His BS why chagne somnthing that works fine now have to spent so much time restaring PR

Just chage for change sake have justify they are doing somthing to keep the subcription cost up !

Yep.  It's definitely a bug.  I was struggling for a good 30 minutes before I figured out to shut it down and turn it back on and then the properties appeared.  This definitely needs to be fixed asap.

Double click on your subtitle when you are in the subtitle workspace - window- workspace- captions and subtitles - and then as normsl on your rack double click on a subtitle. Then you will see all the normal edit options will come up.

Yeah this doesn't work, the "normal edits" are not coming up. Why are there always problems with Adobe and captions, it's a perennial issue around the most basic of features. I don't need AI I just want a product that works!

Hi. Yes, I keep having the same issue. It's the properties panel we need. Windows > Properties – while a caption block is selected in the sequence. It would be nice if this panel also appeared when in the Captions editing workspace.

Either I am stupid or it simply does not help with the problem:

Where exactly does the new properties panel give me any option to edit the subtitle style. I need to burn in some subtitles in specific formatting, fonts and colors. How do I do that?

Agreed. This is an absolute deal breaker for me. Currently finding other software.

I confirm that nothing can be changed when creating a subtitle string
