Can't find Media Cache files in Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common pathway

Hello,

I'm trying to clear up some space because I've noticed my computer has started to slow down and figured I'd start with the media cache from all the projects I've worked on in Premiere. Well, I can't seem to locate any of my media cache files anywhere! I've looked it up online and I've looked on the forums with only one person asking a similar and unanswered question. The media cache folders are not in the Common folder in my library and the preferences in my adobe premiere pro cc 2018 are dictating that to be the pathway where cache files are stored. Is there a reason I'm not seeing them there? I don't ever recall setting a different path for cache files unless by total accident. Is there a way to find these so I can clear up some space?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Edit/Preferences/MediaCache has the option to delete the cache files.

Where does it say they are?

I have heard of a few users who's cache files were for some reason considered "system" files and "hidden" so they had to reset permissions on the folder to even see they were there.
