I've tested this bug on three different mac computers. We can't get Premiere Pro (various different versions, from oldest 24.0 to newest 25.1) to recognize/import 360 video files. When we go to import the files, the folder where the 360 video files are stored, appears empty. This is true of both insta360 X3 files and X4 files.
It's a huge time and energy cost to have to downgrade contractors computers to previous MAC OS versions. I don't know if the bug is on Premiere Pro or Mac OS Sequoia. Really hoping for a resolution soon so I can continue working with new contractors who are on Sequoia.
It sounds as though you don't have the Insta360 plugins installed...?

Thanks for your reply! I have the plug-in installed. But even if I didn't, it should still recognize the 360 files and play them in the distorted way. The plug-in just allows the footage to be viewed correctly, and able to be manipulated.

Makes sense; could you send us one such file? [I DM'd you my email address]

Was this fixed? I am having the same issue. I have Adobe Premiere Pro 25.4.1, MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1. I installed the Insta360 Reframe plugin (5.7.2) and see the plugin under the Video Effects listed (Insta360 ReframeV2). But when I go to import the insrv files, it does not show me VR files. I am not filtering - showing All files - when in Import mode.

I have this exact same issue. 15.5 OS, Premier pro 2025, .insv files not being seen. Need a workaround asap.
