can't install plugin

Trying to install the webm plugin (fnord) and not having any luck. It's only available on the exchange for windows, and when I go to fnord's website and manually download the file, it downloads a .pkg and uses an installation wizard. The wizard fails though and when I go to import media into premiere pro, the program freezes up and forces me to quit the application.
