Capture from a tape using Premiere Pro 2019

Hi there,

I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud and Premiere Pro 2019 on my laptop. When I connected my camcorder to my laptop (using a mini-USB to USB cable) and turned on the camcorder to capture the recorded films, the Premiere didn’t identify the camcorder (it showed “offline”, instead of “online”). Please let me know if there is any solutions.

My laptop has both USB and HDMI ports, as well as Windows 10. And my camcorder (Sony DCR-TRV480E PAL) uses a tape for recording films and has both IEEE and mini-USB ports.

Thanks in advance.
