Hi All,
I'm looking for a video editing product that will allow me to capture video time out to excel or txt file.
Example
1. I have a video file of a group of people sprinting 200 meters. As each person passes certain markets i set on the video i want to be able to quickly capture the video time they hit the marker and output to file.
If anyone can provide any direction, or ideas within this area that would be great.
Cheers
David
Use sequence markers and then export.
With no clips selected, hit M on your keyboard to create a sequence marker. Once you've made them, you can go File>Export>Markers and then choose txt or csv.

Hi Mike,
Thank you!. Is it possible to create pre-set shortcuts for markers? e.g if there are always 8 sprinters in a race, is it possible to have a shortcut for each number, e.g runner 1, 3, 4 etc?
Thanks in advance
David

Open the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' dialog window and under Command you should find entries for 'Add Blue Marker', 'Add Red Marker' etc. which you can assign keyboard shortcuts to.

In addition to Mike's option, you can create a project with the markers defined as you like. Save it, and then do a Save As from that "template" project for each project you start.
