Change the audio file associated with a video source file?
Is there a way to change the audio file associated with a video source file in Premiere?

Try this instead:
Rename the original audio file in its folder location on your hard drive to name of audio file OLD.
It will go offline.
Right click on the original audio file in the Project Panel and click relink.
Choose the new audio file.
The audio I want to replace is attached to the original video file, so I think the only solution in Premiere is to...
- Create a new sequence with original video file.
- Replace audio in sequence with new audio.
- Export whole sequence as a new source file (with exact same settings and duration as video/audio file)
- Replace original file with newly created file.
Voila: same video but new audio.
Kind of a long way around but probably better than just painstakingly mimicing your audio edit in the sequence with a new audio file.
