Color Grading Issue: Premiere Pro vs. Adobe Media Encoder Export when using QT Comp LUT

When exporting my video from Premiere Pro with the QT Compensation LUT, the colors match my color grade. However, when I export the same video using Adobe Media Encoder, the colors revert to their original state, and re-adding the LUT in AME doesn't work. How can I resolve this problem and successfully use Adobe Media Encoder for rendering?

Hi @Mike B Films,

I see. Where is this LUT installed? Is it installed in the app package? If so, that's the culprit. It needs to be added here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/faq-premiere-pro-lumetri-color-custom-lut-directory-and-location/td-p/4785911

See if that might be the issue. I hope the info helps. Sorry for the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @Mike B Films,

Thanks for the note. I think we might be missing some info. Are any other LUTs added to your sequence? Sorry for the frustration on that. Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes, in the main sequence I used Sony's SGamutCineLog3 to LC709TypeA LUT as a baseline then I added some additional touches to the basic correction and curves sections of the Lumetri Color panel to get the look I'm going for. Other than that, I just used the QT Compensation LUT during export to make sure it would look the same after initially exporting and having blown out colors with no contrast.
