color when playing or when stopping are different

Hey Community,

Something new for the past few weeks has been happening. When I play the video, the color looks different than when it is pausing/stopping. Though when I export, it looks more like when it is paused. Can someone tell me how to I make sure it looks the same whether it is pausing or playing?

Thanks

Hey Naima-Naima,

I'm sorry to hear about this. Please let us know which version of Premiere Pro you're currently using (Help > About Premiere Pro). Do you see this issue with a specific source file or project? Please also share a screen recording of the issue. That will help us better understand the problem.

Thanks,

Ishan

The Program monitor has two kinds of playback settings ... there's the full, 1/4, and 1/2 resolution box, but in the Program monitor menu system there are settings for playback quality. Including for lower quality playback but full quality on pause.

You need to go into those settings and change them. Again, in the Program monitor's menu commands. Right-click within the Program monitor.
