try stacking the 2 timelines of the 2 projects above each other (pancake timelines)

then drag the files from one sequence timeline and drop them in the other sequence timeline.

This should create a copy of the files without them included in a bin.

Please let us know what happens

That does work, but the bug is copy and paste

can you please specify the exact version of premiere you have (the exact build)

    and your system specs?

This would help a lot when we share on the bug report

Can you take a screen recording of you doing this? I'd love to try and troubleshoot myself, but I'm out of office until Wednesday.

Are you dragging a folder or just the clips? Are you dragging to a folder or to an empty project window? Premiere shouldn't just create folders on its own unless you're dragging a folder structure from the media browser.

If the folder is empty, what clips are disappearing when you delete the folder? The best way to move clips between projects would be either importing the old project, or opening both projects within Premiere and just dragging the clips from one project to the other.

I have my second project open and Timeline, I copied and pasted the files to the new timeline . It creates a new folder in the First project , where the files are supposed to be but the folder is empty. the files that I copied over are in the new timeline but not in the new project. But if I delete  the folder in the new project  it created the files are also deleted.

The problem importing a sequence it brings in all the clips. I just want certain ones. I guess it just another above glitch.

Then don't import a sequence/project. Open both projects at the same time in Premiere. Set the two project panels side by side. Click and drag only the clips you want from one project panel to the other. Let me know if you have questions.
