Crop option in premiere.... Why no feather option on crop?

Makes no sense. Yes it's fairly simple to mask it and duplicated the crop but that does add another 5-10 minutes of effert when the crop option should simply come equipped with "feather" right? Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid? Might as well just not even use the crop option and just go straight to creating a mask smh

If you want to use the feather option, you will have use the crop effect from the Effects panel.

Right, but if Adobe is going to intentionally add the Crop effect built right into the Properties panel - why not make it fully functional with a feather option? It defeats the point of taking one step out of the process.
