Hi dnemeth01,

We would need more info to get this checked. Please share a screenshot of the Sequence Settings & the Export Settings that you have used.

Thanks,

Sumeet

It looks like your sequence settings in Premiere Pro are (likely) 1440x1080 - whick is an aspect ratio of 4x3.

But your footage has a 16x9 aspect ratio.

You need to change your premiere pro sequence setting to a 16x9 aspect. 1920x1080 is likely going to work for you - though it does depend on the resolution of the original recording.

Make a copy of your sequence - change it's setting - go to Sequence menu > sequence settings > choose (example only) AVC-Intra 100 1080p.

You may find you now need to resize the clips already in the sequence - right click and select 'set to frame size'.

You could also be using the wrong export settings ...

Make sure your export setting are also using 1920x1080. There are presets available in the export window. The YouTube preset 'YouTube 1080p Full HD' is a good starting point.

Good luck and come back with more questions if need be.
