DCP Rendering size and time

Good morning,

I’m hoping someone can offer some advice.

I’m currently rendering an 82 minute film in Premiere Pro to DCP format in flat 1998 x 1080 resolution. It has some heavy post effects (film convert and digieffects aged),but everything is rendered in the timeline and able to be played back no problem.

My issue is the rendering time is estimated at 42 hours and the file size over a terabyte.

does this sound right? I’m worried as I have a deliverable tomorrow

    One more thing, my original footage is 1920 x 1080, I’ve not selected Maximum Render but have chosen use previews. I thought this would increase the export time but unfortunately not. I hope changing those won’t have a bad effect on visual quality. The film is graded to look like a 1970’s grunge film so hopefully won’t be noticeable.
