Difference between video visible in Source and Program panels. HELP

Hi, I am total beginner, so please be gentle.

I am trying to do my first project but I am having problem with this how I see importet video in Source panel and preview from Timeline on Program panel. It is or blown up (like close up) or just small picture in black frame. It is exporting as this. What do I do wrong?

"Close up" problem appears for ex. when I double click on the panel or file on the Timeline... This one with small frame... no idea how appeared. One clip is ok and another is just like this... Help.

The Source monitor shows the 'original' or "source" clip. The Program monitor shows the clip as set on the sequence in the Timeline panel.

What this looks like is you have a clip of a smaller framesize than the timline it is placed on, or it's been set to display at a smaller framesize than that sequence.

So ... what is the framesize of your clip? What is the framesize of your sequence?

A typical process is to simply drag/drop a clip onto a blank timeline panel, as that gets Premiere to create a sequence automatically that fits the clip.

Hello Neil,

Thank you for your reply.

Actually this is what I have done - I have dropped first clip on the timeline, and the first one is ok (as on the pictrue). Next ones are different. I am truly confused...

What are the framesizes of the various clips? Are they all the same?

And there's an option in the preferences for Default Scaling. I would recommend setting that to Set to Framesize. Which will drop other clips on the timline at the timeline framesize.

No, in fact they have different framerate. Will  Set to Framesize solve this problem?

Framesize issues are framesize issues ... the pixel count of the image. As in 1920x1080, whatever.

And don't have anything to do with framerate ... the fps of the clip or sequence.
