Disable double click opening source monitor panel?

Sometimes when navigating the timeline, I'll accidentally double click the clip (it's an issue with my mouse) and it opens the source panel. For what I'm doing, I never need to open that. Is there a way to disable double clicking in the timeline having any action associated with it? Thanks!

    I just was searching for this same issue. I know I am a little late but since the others were not helpful figured I would share my solution. I pinned my source monotier off to the side, hidden away so it did not obstruct my workflow. Hope this helps!

      No, there is not. And please do not ask for such a feature.

      I was very pleased when Adobe brought the feature back after being absent for several versions.

      Get a new mouse!
