dual 4k HDMI Video Adapter with M1 Mac mini

New Here ,
Dec 01, 2022 Dec 01, 2022

I just bought and received a HYPER dual 4k HDMI Video Adapter. I am trying to use it on a 2020 M1 Mac mini. I was excited when I plugged in, using two new high speed HDMI cables and two Benq 27” monitors. One is 4k and the other 2k. I gave permission to InstantView under privacy - screen recording.

Both monitors display and extended mode works fine, excpet with Adobe Premiere 2023. Video in my bins or on the timeline don't display/black screen and the video controls don’t work.

Thanks in advance.

Ron

Hi Ron,

Check out the Apple Support article for multiple monitors and the M1 Mini: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-mini/connect-a-display-apd8e4fbbb97/mac

You must hook one monitor up to Thunderbolt and the other to HDMI. See if that works.

Thanks,
Kevin
