DVD Material nach Import in Premiere Pro CC abgeschnitten

Hallo,

Was mache ich falsch?

Viele Grüße

Johannes

    marathon:

Have you considered covering the DVD-Video data outside of Premiere?

VLC Player might be able to do it.  Handbrake is an option if H264 will work.  I use an application called DVDxDV Pro to that converts the VIDEO_TS data structure to DV-NTSC or Apple ProRes every so often.

Then, import the resulting movie file into your Premiere Pro project.

converting via VLC works, kind of... ;-)

Post screenshot of dvd in say vlc player and in Program Monitor or Premiere for comparison. To see how much is cut off, as there are different scenarios for this.

This is the vob file in the vlc player.

This is the same vob file in Premiere Pro CC

That is what I thought. This is a bug in Pr that affects some mpeg files.

Download Premiere CS6, then you will be able to edit the footage.

Is the PR viewer set to "Fit"?

Did you create the sequence by dragging a vob to the new item icon?

What do you mean with PR viewer? Is that the zoom factor in the source monitor?

Yes, I created a sequence by dragging the vob to the new item icon.

I did also did it by creating the sequence first and than dragging the vob into the sequence.

But this doesn't make difference. Already the vob source material inside Premiere (in the source monitor) is cut of.
