Hey there!
Since the latest Adobe update my dynamik linked After Effects comps do not update in Premiere.
I have to restart Premiere every time I make a change to any of the linked comps to see the changes in Pr.
I checked for any weird characters in the file names, cleared all chaches and prefs. But still not updating.
Same issue with old and newly created projects. Any suggestions?
Christian
I'm running Premiere 14.2 on a 2017 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.5.

Hi Christian,
Sorry to hear about this. We can get this checked. Please let us know the exact version of After Effects that you are using. Also, are you using any third-party effects in the After Effects composition? Let us know, we're here to help.
Thanks,
Sumeet

I am having the same problem; dynamic linked After Effects comps do not update in Premiere unless I restart Premiere. At first the link would not update in premiere at all, even if I restarted, but then I found the fix in the link at the end of this -and that worked for a while, but now I have to restart premiere any time I make a change in AE that I need to see. I have been using this method for making commercials at my job for a year and a half and not had this problem before. And this is in many different projects. I have the most recent updates/installs of Premiere and After Effects. I have Red Giant plugins installed, but are not using them in any of these comps.
And here is that original fix: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/dynamic-link-broken-with-premiere-cc2020-update/td-p/107...

In Premiere, try getting rid of any sequence renders. This solved the problem for me.

How did you do that?
