Dynamic Media metadata: Alternate tape name - how ... - Adobe Product Community

I'm having to remove 'alternate tape name' from dynamic media - as it is causing false positive for 'duplicate clip' indication in the timeline.

However this change does not survive a restart of PP - any idea how to make the change more permenant? Or how the 'dynamic' metadata is derived?
