dynamic transcription language

Hello,

I try to figure how to edit with dynamic transcriptions.

I have french speaker interviews. When I select in the text panel the "dynamic transcription" option, there is no option for language detection. So after transcription my text is completely false, it is in english and the interview is in french...

When I ask for a static transcription, I have the language option available and it works fine.

Any idea ? Thanx

Before running the automatic transcriptions, set the default language. You can do this when creating the project and turning automatic transcription on or off. And also by selecting the preferences: Edit -> Preferences -> Transcription.

To change one of the incorrect clip transcriptions, right-click it in the Project Panel, and pick "Re-Transcribe..." You can also select multiple clips, but only if they have already been transcribed. The transcription options box will appear, and you can select the language there. But that will not change the default language.

Thank you ! it works. It's pretty buggy... I have to reload the panel every 10mn.  And everything is not super clear about the way it works. Hope it will be a really stable functionnality soon.
