Hey,
editign while rendering in the background is very clumsy.
Can I prepair the timeline and export it to a second machine?
And then render the timeline on the seconde machine? (with media encoder)
How can I achiev this?
Or do I need to start the project on the other machine and send the timeline over to media encoder from there?
I would like to achive:
Edit on machine A
Send timeline to MediaEncoder on Machine B
Render on machine B
Files are on Server C
I don´t see any way to export the timeline....
thanxs
Peter
Hey,
yes you can!
i found out , that when the files that you are editing are located on a server drive (that's how we set the system up) , then you can open the Premiere Project in the media Encoder.
mit takes a while. But then you get a dialog box where you can select the sequences that you want to render.
once selected , media encoder gets the links and then starts encoding.
end then it's way easier to edit on the other machine!
it would be great if this could be achieved by a script .....
