Im trying to edit my pictures from an IMG file and when it comes up, it only shows for a second, and then it disappears. Why am I spending money for stuff that doesn't work right? I never had an issue before I resigned up for this program.

I'm assuming you have your image on a timeline? Can you extend the image on your timeline so it covers a longer timeframe?

Are you importing the image file as a still image or as an image sequence?

It sounds like you either set the preferences for a duration that's shorter than what you're expecting or imported it as an image sequence without realizing it.  The default still image duration is 5 seconds, so you would have had to have shortened the default duration without realizing it.  You should change the setting to what you would like it to be for future imports and then click and drag the out point of the still image to the desired duration (or use the Speed/Duration dialog box).  Image sequences show each image for one frame.  If you did this, you'll want to import the image again as source footage and not as an image sequence.
