Effects and Image Control

I'm using the latest version of PP on a free trial basis.  The software is great!  It's got some great features and I really like it.  I've got a couple questions about the "Effects" and image control and "Auto Save".

1.)  I noticed that a lot of the features are missing like "image control" in Effects.  Is there a reason for this?

2.)  When I save my work, a file folder automatically appears, "Premier Pro Auto-Save" and it lists the different file folders the video is saved in.  Which one is the latest and greatest?

Are you talking about these?

You can sort your Autosave folder by 'last modified' and it will bring you most recent ones to the top. BTW: That doesn't happen 'when you save your work' it happens on a schedule. Check out the Auto Save tab on the (Edit\Preferences screen)
