I have some old 16mm film I've made digital. It looks fine for what it is (16mm), but it's obviously grainy. I have seen people improve the quality of 16mm film on YouTube, before AI was a thing, so I know it's not that. I'm really not at all familiar with options in Premiere (or maybe it's an After Effects thing? I have both) I can use to make the footage look cleaner.
I know it's not going to look HD, and that's not my goal, just any improvement to make it look as best as I can.
If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction in terms of effects to try, or a tutorial, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!
I use the (paid) plugin Neat Video.

Well, if it does a good job and since it's not a subscription, might be worth the $110...
Thanks, I'll try it.
If anyone has a free thing within the program I can try, still open to this info too.

Oh, it's $210. I hate when they hide the real prices of things. Stil might be worth it, but would prefer to know if there's options already in this thing I already pay through the nose for.

Yeah, that works great! Worth the money. Thanks! I'm very excited.
