Error: "Unable to create image buffer."

I recently installed PPCC (2018). I started a new project and imported footage from a Canon XF100. The footage file folders contain files types including CIF Files, XML documents, SIF Files, and MXF Files. Whenever I try importing to the entire folder into a project, I get an error saying "unable to create image buffer." Sometimes I also get an error saying that premiere doesn't support the file format. I tried putting the MXF files in their own folder and importing only that, but then I get a link media error.

When importing the folder that should be the Clips001 folder.

Download Canon's XF utility program and convert the mxf files to single files.

That is what I use to do (dont have the camera anymore) had no issue importing the files.

I took your advice and imported the files through the media browser and got the same error message (for less of the files).

Unsupported media are the auxiliary files and are not suppose to be imported.

Exactly.  When importing through Media Browser, you don't get those auxiliary files, and hence no warning about unsupported formats.
