Essential Graphic Panel is always resizing itself

The Essential Graphic Panel is always resizeing itself after I dropped an element to the timeline. Is there a possibility to prevent this from happening?

I understand that you are getting issues with Essential Graphics panel. I checked the issue at my end, this does not seem to be a known issue.

Is this a custom workspace that you are using?

Please test the issue with a new workspace and check if it is a workspace related issue.

Thanks for your quick reply. I just tried to reset the preferences and the window is still reseting itself after dropping elements to the timeline. The only workspace layout where it doesn't happen is the graphics window.

Thank you for testing the specifics of the issue. Here is something I would recommend to try:

Uncheck the stacked panel group under Panel Group settings. you can refer to these screenshots.
