Export highlighted sequence time

• Issue - When I export a highlighted clip with marked in and out, it defaults to a longer timeline and exports a longer and larger clip than necessary
• Adobe After Effects version number 23.0.0
• Operating system Monterey 12.6.4
• Steps to reproduce - Mark in and out on timeline. File>Export>Media
• Expected result - highlighted timeline should be default timeline of exported clip
• Actual result -  exported clip defaults to 8:38
  Obviously I can change the setting, but it used to default, which is preferred.

Is it After Effects or Premiere Pro you're referring to? Could you try using the latest version and see if the issue persists?
