Export PP file to Facebook-covervideo

Dear Adobe-types,

I'm trying to make a covervideo for my Facebookpage, but I've run into a problem. After exporting my file, I'm trying to upload it to Facebook, but it's always saying that something is wrong.

It says the following: http://imgur.com/a/bohPa

My setting when exporting in Premiere Pro is as following: http://imgur.com/a/glGVo

What do I do wrong? I've tried changing the pixel-scale, so that it says 820x312, but nothing really works.

I hope, you can help me. And sorry for my bad English.

Best regards

Jacob

Hi Jacob - Rather than selecting the preset, "HD 1080i 25" (as seen in your screenshot) change the preset to "Match Source High Bitrate" and you should be good after you hit export, that is if your sequence settings are 820 x 312 or 820 x 462.

Export at 820 x 462.  If that doesn't work, ask Facebook why?

The export settings are a bit of a mess.

    1280 to 1920 framesize.

    23,976 to 25 fps

    progessive to interlaced.

    Leave it 23.976 and progressive.

What is the file size in MB?

Then you can try with another Internet browser. Not all browsers are valid for uploading video to FB.

Maybe the data rate is too high. Try to select one of the facebook video presets in the export dialog box. Maybe the Facebook 720p is a good start point. Select H264 as format and then you can select the preset Facebook 720p HD.

And I've also tried that - same error on Facebook :/

Are you trying to upload the encoded video directly in the Publish tab inside the Export Dialog Box??

Nope. Exporting it as a regular file, then posting it through Facebook's cover uploading-system.

Facebook video is 1280 as maximum horizontal size for cover videos, but they recommend the sizes you get in the alert message. Also they have a limitation in duration. How much time lasts your video?

I've tried another formats - nothing is changed.

The video lasts 27 seconds, so that isn't the problem..
