Hi
I work in 16:9 för video but when I export stills/frame it become a squared photo.
I tried to change som settings in "sequenze settings" but hasnåt been able to change this.
I also wonder why, at the top (see scree, the ratio says 1920/1920 and 16:9
I also want to work in 25 fps (as I live in Europe) but cant change from 30. Any ideas why?
Thanks in advance

I would try making a new sequence with the correct dimensions and framerate and copy the material over.

Hi jans76253362,
Your sequence is set to a square frame (1920 x 1920). If you are working with a 1920 x 1080 media, please change the sequence settings to match that. Also, if the media uses a square pixel aspect ratio, please set Pixel Aspect Ratio to Square (1.0) under Sequence Settings.
Thanks,
Sumeet

Hi @jans76253362:
I'm adding a screen shot to go with the other replies to your question to illustrate what your Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) should be set to.Pictured: Sequence Settings dialog box with Pixel Aspect Ratio changed to Square Pixels (1.0)
The PAR value of a Sequence passes through to any video or still exported from it. For an image to appear proportionally correct outside of Premiere Pro, "Square Pixel (1.0)" is the safest choice. A non-square pixel aspect ratio is something you'd only use if your workflow specifically requires it.

It sounds like your sequence was created with a square frame (1920x1920), which is why your stills export as a square image. Try creating a new sequence using a 1920x1080 preset (16:9) and then copy your clips into it — that’ll fix both the aspect ratio and export shape.
For the 25 fps issue, check under File > New > Sequence > Settings and choose a PAL-based preset or manually set the frame rate to 25. Premiere defaults to 30fps when you use NTSC templates, so switching to PAL should solve it.

Double click on your footage from the project panel and use the camera icon to export a still frame from your Source Monitor. Follow other advices for setting frame rate.

Use 1920×1080 (16:9), Square pixels, and create a new 25 fps sequence for European projects.

Thanks for all the answers. I copied efveryting and paste it to a new project. It was some hour of work to reframe the clips, and I had some problems there, but it seems to work ok now!
