Question

Few questions about Premier Pro

I have CS6 and I'm thinking of trying Premier Pro demo version (one week free). However, there appears to be some information missing on the website.

Does anyone know how many GB of storage are needed for Premier Pro?

Does Adobe permit installation on two computers in one dwelling? I have two laptops, one is faster, but the other has a better screen. I use them interchangeably, and ideally I'd switch between them depending on the task.

Adobe says there is a fee for early cancellation of their monthly subscription, but they don't say what the fee is. Does anyone know?

Yes, I can and will if necessary contact customer support by email, but I thought someone here might be able to provide a bit quicker answer as I was thinking of downloading the trial version tonight.

Make sure your machine is capable of handling CC 2023.

As soon as you install any part of the Cloud, even a trial, it replaces your program management system
-if you plan to keep using a serial number program you should NOT install a Cloud program, not even a trial
-Read Cloud takes over https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Get-off-the-cloud/td-p/8075485 for some ideas

If you cancel early you pay 1/2 of the remaining time

You may activate on 2 and use 1 at a time http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

Thanks for the reply John. I skimmed the thread and will study it closer, but on first glance it appears that if I install Premier Pro I could lose access to my CS6, but my understanding is Premier Pro only comes in subscription/cloud form. It appears as though there may be no way for me to use Premier Pro without losing CS6.

Yea ... and  that can be an issue. If you've got a computer that can run CS6 sitting around, and a newer rig that can run the current CC versions, then ... keep them separate. Do not load your CC account onto the machine with CS6.

I wish they didn't set this up this way, but ... well ... it's their choice.

Why? I dont have any issues running cs6 and CC on one machine.

If you are referring to CC taking over CS6 that is long gone, as CS6 is no longer part of CC.

CS6 now requires a serial number.

I found the answer to the size. It's 8 GB
