Files Corrupting & Disappearing

Community Beginner ,

To summarize my problem as briefly as possible, I have a variety of different file types (MP4, PNG, JPEG, EPS, MOGRT, etc) that are corrupting within a number of different projects. Some files seem to have their corruption limited to the particular sequence I'm working with and work in other projects or sequences, however some files seem to outright disappear from my two external drives (a WD My Passport SSD and a WD_Black SSD) altogether.

For additional context, I'm working off v23.6. I split my work between two different computers, however both are PCs and running Windows. I've already tried reformating my SSDs, clearing Premiere's media cache, and attempting to simply relink the media, however none of these options have given me success. Additionally, most of the corrupted/deleted files are truly gone and I'll need to redownload them.

Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing this issue?

Premiere does not delete files by itself.

Download these files from where?

I realize Premiere isn't meant to delete files by itself, however that does not change the fact that when I import a variety of files from my SSD into a project, they corrupt/disappear.

The files orginated from my company's DAM (we use Bynder).

Consider doing a spyware check on your system. This odd behavior does not origin from Adobe apps.

Hope this helps.

Any good spyware checkers you would recommend?
