Question

Font Exported from After Effects suddenly has blue highlight on text in Premere

Hi all,

So I always export my graphics from AE using animation RGB+alpha settings to use in Premiere. Never had issues until v23. Lately, I would import my graphics and it would look great. At some point, the text would almost pixelate around the font and give it a turquoise/blueish highlight. I cant seem to figure out what step is different from my typical exports from AE. It also exports from Premere like this. My work around is to reexport the composite from AE and replace the imported premiere clip and export my timeline before the newly inserted clip decides to turn blue again. am I missing a step? solutions? thanks!

Exact same thing is happening to me. Transparent text from after effects will look fine in premiere pro at first, but if I exit and return to the project later, the text is pixelated and light blue. Reimporting it doesn't help either. I have to make a new text in after effects and use it right away. Exported as RGB+Alpha / Animation / Quicktime. That's the only way I can get it to export with a transparent background. Only weird thing is that the quicktime file says it's incompatible with my mac quicktime player, yet will still open in premiere pro.

Hello, please give the full version numbers of both apps, a screenshot of the issue could help.

Can you also check the settings of the AE file? is it in 8, 16 or 32 bits?
