Font size changes after upgrading to graphics

New Here ,

Hi everyone! Hope all is well with you.

Just a quick question.

Why does the font size on captions in premiere pro change after upgrading to graphics?

When I set my font size in the essential graphics panel while my texts are still on the caption track to 85, and then I select all and "upgrade to graphics" the font size changes to 48 in the essential graphics. See the photos below.

How do you make it so it doesnt change at all?

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

What are you system specs?

I can't replicate. Does the font change size visually in the Programme monitor?

radastami,

The day you posted this, I tried it and saw a difference in the numbers, but thought the size might be the same. I did not get time to work on it any more that day.

I saw Mike's response and gave it another try.

Today, I see no difference in the numbers or the appearance. I tried the caption I was using (Minion Pro) and Monserrat. I set captions to 48, 85, and 100. I tried regular text, and your setting of all caps. None of them changed at all.

I don't know what to make of that. Try a new sequence, new project. Do you still see a difference?

Stan

Try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
