Gamma shift when scrubbing or playing/pausing sequence

Has anyone noticed a visible gamma shift when scrubbing or playing/pausing the sequence after you change some of the sequence properties (size, framerate etc.)?

I'm using PPro 13.1.2 on Windows 10 1809.

I'm using Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti with the latest drivers (430.39) without color management on since I have an sRGB monitor.

It started with version 13.0 I think and it only occurs if you change anything on sequence properties.

So after trying several things, I discovered that it is related with the fact that I have technical LUT applied as master clip effects and also working with proxies. To surpass the issue I have to toggle proxies off and then turning them on again. So I'm happy there is a workaround. However it is still considered a bug. Something that I hope gets on the fix list soon.

Thanks!

I just noticed on a fresh project that it is not related to master clip effects at all. All you have to do to reproduce it is have a clip with proxy on a timeline and then change the framerate or the size of the sequence while having the proxies toggled on.

The proxies must have the properties of the clips as used on the sequence. The way you're trying to work will have problems. They don't have a process to change proxy properties from changes to media that I'm aware of.

When working within any of these complex apps, you either work as it is designed or problems ensue.

If you re-create the proxies with the tech LUT already in place, does that change the view?

I haven't tried that, and to be honest I don't want the proxies to be different than original master. It will be a nightmare later on.

There is some kind of caching happening, that by toggling the proxies off and on goes away. So I could live with that.
