Getting information on updates

I have had to downgrade Premiere Pro because of some zoom / scroll bug that makes the new versions unusable.  However there doesn't appear to be any way of knowing what the update button in the creative cloud app will update to.  I know the number I am currently using, but not the number of the new update (nor a list of what has been improved) its just an update button with no further info.

Since I can't upgrade until I know the buggy versions have been fixed, how can I get the information I need to know whether the required fixes are available when I hit the update button?

This is not a bug, it's actually an intentional change in the recent updates. You can read more about it in this discussion.

If you'd prefer to go back to an earlier version of Premiere, here's a guide on how to install a previous version.
