Getting low level exception importer:55

Running version 23.6.9 on a windows 10 machine.  Im capturing video off of a 24 year old Sony camcorder with a firewire connection.  I keep getting low level exception importer:55 error.  What is this and how can I stop it?

    Ignorance? Feature has been discontinued in 24 and up. So no there is no fix.

    Try Win DV or HDV-split.

    Again - one of the Adobe's IGNORANCE. Have the same problem and it persists, persists...Nonthing works. Thinking of package cancelation.

    Tell it to my old DV stock which is needed for movie project. The history does not start with 1080/50p. There are hours and hours of DV.avi material which now has to be somehow converted. Older projects crash... problems which I think Adobe's customer (suscribed almost from beggining) do not deserve!

    ....a lot of work which my customer denies to pay as we transfer the cassetes to disks years ago (have obout 300+ hours of DV).

    Some people sometimes use Adobe crap for real jobs, not just for internet mambo-jambo videos.

    So, me smelling Adobe's ignorance and incompetence, don't you agree?
