Gradually worsening lag in PP as copying from one sequence to another

I've seen another similar thread where one of the Adobe moderators noted this issue had been resolved in the latest update - but I'm still seeing gradually worsening lag as I'm copying clips from one sequence to another. If I restart PP then performance is fine for a couple minutes then reverts back to being laggy. 

 

I'm using a top spec M1 Max MBP (64Gb RAM) and 23.2.0 PP.

    Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug, and I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? If so, the team will need more information from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

    yeah, problem is still persistent, i still lag a lot after some edits or copy and paste

    No significant lag when playing clips, just when copying/pasting and moving between sequences.
