Having trouble with the new UI

Why did you change Adobe Premiere Pro? it sucks~! I cant find anything now. I dont want to watch a tutorial . I don't even know where to look! I need to set up my docment size. You moved everything. Stop trying to change the program for dumb people! They are dumb for a reason.

Its pretty simple, I need to make my document 1920 by 1080 for youtube but the setting is missing and they didnt just change some stuff they moved everything and made it suck. I cant find anything. They should either become like capcut or leave it alone. Cause honestly im over wasting my time every g$d D7yum F**C#en year I have to relearn every single adobe program and its not an improvement more like "more bugs, and a treasure hunt to find sh*t. Im so done.

I understand your frustration and I believe you are stuck on the export page,

so in the presets tab, go down and click on 'more presets', there you will find

hundreds of presets, among them the youtube preset you are looking for.

I dont want a preset I just want to create a new document and put in my own settings like I always do. I understand that there are many noobs who have anxiety and cant cope with so many options. So instead of messing it up for us seasoned users why not make a dummy lite version for them like you did with photoshop elements.  We are your long game customers and to be quite frank im over this. I dont like the new interface and same thing happened when you replaced soundbooth with garbage audition, I still to this day cant bring myself to use it. I have to use ghetto audacity.

Its just dumb its asking me to set up my size at the end why would i do that? that makes no sense I want to set up my document in the beginning right now i dont even know what size it is or how to change it. Why does adobe do this, do you know how peeded people get over these changes. im this close from throwing my computer.

Thanks for the message. I can relate to what you're frustrated with. First thing, I'm not on the Premiere Pro team, I'm a support person who is also a mod on this forum. Let me help, if I can.

I hope I am understanding your issue. If not, it's OK. Let me know. When starting a new project, you'll be faced with "Import Mode."

All you really need to do in Import mode, is

a) name your project.

b) choose the location of the project.

c) click the Create button.

Then, "Edit mode" will launch, giving you back the UI you are used to, where you can import and organize footage as you are used to doing in the Project panel. Grab an HD clip and place it into the timeline and you'll be in busniess.

Backing up a bit: Import mode does offer some unique ways to kick off a project, however, you do not need to use these functions if you do not want. It's really up to you. I've used Import mode for my own projects, to be honest. Let me know if you want any tips on using Import mode. There are a few caveats and tips there.
