Hello Community and thanks in advance for your precious help.

PROBLEM: I already edited clips and put effects on them in the wrong aspect ratio because the camera footage was 4000x6000 px e I did not put the aspect ratio i needed, the ono of the reel. (1080x1920).

Now, I tried to put all the clips into a new project with the correct dimensions but the effects are gone and the scale of the clips is different. How can I solve this? The only solution I see is start a brand new project and start over, which I would like to avoid.

THANK YOU

To adjust the aspect ratio of an already edited sequence, follow these steps:

  1. Select your sequence in the Project panel.
  2. Go to Sequence > Auto Reframe Sequence.
  3. In the dialog box, set the Target Aspect Ratio to Vertical 9:16.
  4. If you’ve made adjustments to the scale or position of clips in the original sequence, make sure to tick the Nest Clips option before proceeding.

This will reframe your sequence for the selected aspect ratio while maintaining any adjustments you’ve made.
