How do I crop videos in Premiere Pro? Instructions on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmul0jUfIXs don't help as the dont' align with program - instructions not clear on any website. need details with screenshots of where I can find things
Most of the things referred to in instructons I can't find to begin with so it ends up being a pointless exercise.
I want to crop the length of videos as well as the image in the video.

If you mean the horizontal dimension of the screen, you need to change the sequence settings.
I want to crop.... the image in the video.

Do you want black bars around the video?
If so, use the crop effect in the Effects Panel.
If not, then you have to either adjust the size of the clip in the Effects Control Panel or change the sequence settings to match the clip.

I have no idea where to find those functions. That's the problem. I'm told do x, y, z but finding the actual tool is hard.
