Hi

I'm getting high cpu when I export videos using Adobe premiere pro/ media encoder

Codec: h.264

Resolution: 2560x1440

Profile: high 5.2

Bit rate target: 80mpbs

Hardware selected

My pc specs:

Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core CPU (4.2GHz-5.0GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5)

Gpu: 12GB ASUS TUF GEFORCE RTX 4070 Ti - HDMI, DP

Ram: 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB)

Is this normal or is there something I need to change

Hi @Deleted User,

Thanks for writing in with all the details about your system. Much appreciated! Since your export size is rather odd, that can impact your render time unless your media is of an identical size. Is it? Or is there some scaling going on? That might explain things if so. While AMD CPUs are not optimal for decoding and encoding H.264 footage (no Intel Quick Sync), more details might solve this mystery. I hope we can help you. I am very sorry you are experiencing this problem.

Thanks,
Kevin
