Highlight and Zoom Mouse-Pointer / Tutorial

Hi, I want to create a tutorial and I'm just thinking about how I can best highlight the mouse (+zoom...).
Is there any function directly in Premiere Pro that helps me with this or a plugin?
Or do I have to create the video. Then go over the video with a “mouse highlight tool” and “film it”, e.g. with OBS?
Can't I do that direct in Premiere Pro?

AFAIK there is no way to do that in Premiere Pro.

I have used BB Flashback to record the screen and all those things could be done there. I don´t know if it can be done in OBS.

It would be so cool if you could just have a layer like the subtitles, where you would then have a transparent surface where a special mouse pointer would be shown. Sort of a video over the video with an alpha channel.

Create a video. Then play it and point with the mouse. Somehow that sounds wrong in 2024.

If you're on a Mac, QuickTime Player has a built-in screen recording feature. It can also record the mouse and display mouse clicks. I'm a big fan of ScreenFlow, which also records the mouse + audio for video tutorials. You can enlarge the mouse after the screen recording. Talking about Zooms: Zoom can easily be made in the final edit in Premiere Pro. Premiere Gal has shown me how to use Film Impact Motion Tween to create temporal zooms. That's a very fast and convenient way.
