How can I save sequence settings as a preset?

Adobe don't hurt anybody if they make possible to use sequence presets in the sequence settings. This is quite logical for me.

You can request a new feature here:

Premiere Pro: Hot (1227 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps

While this new functionality might not hurt anything, it takes Adobe resources to add it. Many users would find the workaround acceptable: create new sequence from preset, and copy paste old sequence. Users can vote on the feature request.

It's not working. I can't apply presets from there to existing sequences.

    It is not a limitation.

You are not using it correct.

The preset is to set up a new sequence (it says so at the top of the window).

For an existing sequence one changes the settings in the sequence settings.

    One by one.

Not long ago one was not able to change settings at all but had to make a new one and copy everything over.

Using PP you have to do every simple thing one by one all night long... Final Cut offers more intuitive workflow which leads to faster editing.

If you can't do what you want it is a limitation.
