Hey all! New to premiere pro and am excited to start editing content. I have a question on how to create an effect like this https://ytcropper.com/cropped/V45d7ac234c00 (3 second clip)
Basically I want to have a screenshot of a paragraph and show half of it and then scroll in place to show the other portion of the paragraph a little while later.
Anybody know how to do this? Thank you!

Hi,
I clicked your link but it didnt seem to play any video.
From your description though it sounds like you just need to bring the image into a new sequence.
Then when its selected, use the effects controls panel to keyframe (using the stopwatch) the position of the image to the desired parameters.

Thanks for the re-uploading it.
It looks like they may text in one layer which they animate upwards at certain points.
They also use a mask to crop to the region of interest.
I’d recommend doing it in two stages. You have the text which you animate using the position tool so that the words you want centred scroll to position when you want.
Once that’s done nest the text layer and use a mask (opacity controls in your effects controls tab) to crop to the region you want.
Id also use markers in the nested layer, so that you can see when the change of region occurs to make it easier.
At least that’s how I'd go about it in Premiere. Not saying its 100% "best practice", but it should get the desired result.
