Hello,
How can I get the Anchor Point to stay in the middle of a shape for the entire clip?
I have a simple idea - I want a regular polygon to rotate around its center while moving along a path.
I'm getting used to using keyframes to create a path.
HOWEVER I have to move the anchor point to the center of the object EVERY TIME I want to rotate. There has to be a better way.
thanks!!
Isabelle

You need to use the properties of the shape not the Vector or Motion.

So, Ann, do you mean in the top left panel I should open the shape and work there? I will look at that. Thanks!

Hello BellaBellaBell,
The Adobe documentation on motion anchor points is not terrible:

If, for some reason, your anchor point goes off center.
Use the Snap in Program monitor feature (wrench).

FAB! Thanks for that piece of added info - and the fantastic examples of the regular heptagon! Isabelle
