How Do I Get Sound To my headphones in Premiere?

Hi, im trying to have sound come out of my headphones when i edit in premiere right now, when i plug in my head phones, everything gets route to them

except premiere when i play something in premiere, i can still hear the audio coming from my Monitor speakers which is a samsung thx

The Audio Hardware panel of Premiere's Preferences allows you to specify the default output and this will overwrite the system default for your whole computer. There probably is an option for your headphones or something that related to them:

Set default input to none.

Plug your headphones into the headphone jack on the speakers, not the computer directly.
