Updated to 2017 and subclips in my project are screwed giving me some format mismatch error or something. Need to go back to 2015.3. Can't find how in the CC app.

You need to export your 2017 project as an xml and import that into a new 2015 project.
Some features might not work.

One thing not all that well known is that when you upgrade to a new version, it's typically far better to create a new project in the new version, then from the Media Browser panel in that new project, navigate to a copy of the previous version's project file, and import that.
For some reason, PrPro does a better job most times of importing a previous version project, than it does in updating that project file to a new version. I don't know why, but ... the two are not the same process.Find more inspiration, events, and resources on the new Adobe Community
