Do you guys know how to send your premiere pro project from your pc to your macbook? I recently got a new macbook pro with the M1 pro chip. I don't know to send the project to my macbook. I'm using the migration assistant to send all my files to my macbook but it takes a long time for the files to be sent to my macbook, and usually I don't get my project file. I don't know what to do. Can you please help me?

I recommend selecting the sequence in your project and then going to file/project manager and using this tool to collect everything into a folder. Then transfer to folder to your new computer.

You could load it onto an external drive.

If I do this, will I be able to work on my premiere pro project simantaneously on my mac and my pc? Like if I edit on my mac, will the edits appear on my pc and vice versa? Also how do I sent all my premire pro projects and history and data to my mac where I can edit my projects on my mac and my pc?

No, you would still need to sync the files by some means.
There are several means of doing this, but it's usually not worth it for one person...probably best to just use one of your computers for editing.

Here's another way.
You also use a cloud sharing service like iCloud or Dropbox, but that's certainly not going to be faster.

These easiest way to do this is to save YOUR FILES TO THE ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD!
On your computer in your user folder you should see a folder called "Creative Cloud Files" you can just save everything to that folder... or just work off of that folder... then you can just log into Creative Cloud on the other computer.
Or --- under settings in Premiere you can go to Auto-Save and check "Save back-up project to Creative Cloud"
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the answer. I really want to edit the project on both computers and have the edits be on each computer even if I'm at different computers. I'm high school senior. I want to edit the best videos on youtube like my username says. Can you list me the steps that I need to do in order to be able to edit the same project on both computers? Is it even possible? Thanks for the help and understanding. Have a good day.

You can work on both projects on two different computers, you would just have to save before switching computers and then re-open the project you just saved on the other computer. You can try them both being open at the same time, but they might not be able to get updated and synched that way.
Hope this helps!

I answered this question before. If you save your project to the Creative Cloud, then you can open that same project by logging in to Creative Cloud on your MAC, then opening the project. Then you can save that project and go back to your PC that is also logged in to the Creative Cloud and you can open the project on your PC. It saves to the CLOUD.... so you can open it up from ANY computer as long as you log in and have the application downloaded!
Hope that helps!
