How do you open a bin as a new tab, not a floating window?

Hi all.

I don't see any option to open a bin as a tab in the Project area.  Double-clicking on one (when in icon view) always opens a new window, and you can't even drag the window to the tab collection to dock it.

This is the latest CC version, on the latest Mac OS.

Hi Mobius Strip,

Go to the Premiere Pro Preferences, under General change the Double-Click behavior to Open new tab.

I tried to change in Preferences but its like the Preferences are not woking?

Bin Problems !!

1. What if the preferences will NOT change?

2. I double click on bin and nothing happens my other machine works great but this new one is a problem??
